'Yoga Nidra is one of the least known and most under-appreciated pratices of Yoga, yet it's potential reach is immense. In our modern society, many of us are accustomed to doing more to get more.... Yoga Nidra is not about doing more, it is about doing less. Yoga Nidra is about releasing the struggling and striving to get somewhere. It is the art of doing nothing to arrive exactly where you want to be.'

Kamini Desai, page XI, Yoga Nidra The Art of Transformational Sleep.

Letting Go through Stillness and Stretch with NIDRA

Breathe in my deepest exhale
I found the weight I carried
float away from me
and now I can finally
breathe.
Cheyenne Macrides

At The Wee Hours, we envision a compassionate Edinburgh where no one is left unseen, unsupported, or uncared for. We strive for a city where basic human needs are met with dignity, where community stands together in solidarity, and where hope finds its way to every street corner.

Our Goal for 2025

To expand our outreach and better serve those in need, we plan to extend our current Friday night service and introduce an additional distribution on Saturday nights. This will reach more individuals experiencing homelessness, provide more consistent support, and compassion are available when they’re needed most.
